These craft will exhibit the appropriate local and international day and
night signals.
Details: : Dredging works will be carried out by the grab dredgers, “Titan”/ “Janus”/ “Minas”, held in position by 4-point anchor moorings.

The safety zone is a circular area of 60-metre radius centred at the dredger. Dredged materials will be transported to the designated dumping ground by the barges assisted by pusher tugs.

During the operation, 2 tug boats will be attended to the dredger. The tug boats will shift the dredger when required.

Safety boats will be in attendance at all times to warn and re-direct craft in the vicinity to keep clear of the dredging work area. Contact with the safety boats can be made via VHF Channel 22.

Caution :
When in the vicinity of the working area, mariners are reminded to:
(a) Keep well clear and not to enter the working area;
(b) Maintain a proper lookout;
(c) Proceed at a safe speed and navigate with caution;
(d) Maintain a listening watch on VHF Channel 22 (Jurong Control); and
(e) Communicate with Jurong Control on VHF Channel 22 for assistance, if required.
